Hi there, I am Mark Kunce with Coachella Valley Real Estate School. In this blog post, I would like to give you some tips on how to prepare for the California Real Estate Exam.
First, you need to set your big goals. To pass the California Salesperson License Exam you will need a score of 70% or better. But you should try to score 95% or even higher.
When you think big from the start, you are putting the plans and actions in place from day one to make achieving the huge success you desire more attainable. By focusing on Big Goals, you will be focusing on developing Big Habits that will always be appropriate to achieving your highest levels of successes. When you set the goals and the exam date, you will now know how much you have to study to reach your goals.
The next step is blocking off time to study and guarding it from distractions that may pull you off track. Adding a time block to your calendar not only helps you organize your time more effectively, it also improves focus. At the end of each week, block time for your planning time and to review your progress.
Individuals with written goals and weekly accountability are 76.7% more likely to succeed.
Distractions happen, but how you are able to minimize them and recover from them is what really matters. Shut off your phone and isolate yourself from mobile apps. While most multitasking isn’t as dangerous as texting while driving, it is just as detrimental to productivity and quality of study.
When you study, use practice exams and assess your knowledge. Review wrong answers, study those topics and key terms to improve your score. When you get the score more than your goal, you are ready.
I hope these tips will help you prepare for the exam. We have a full day, live Real Estate Exam Prep Course once a month.
